Back to Apply to Padua

Application Process

The Admissions Process is simple!

If your student is applying to transfer to Padua, please see the Transfer Admissions Process. Those students interested in applying to Padua's Learning Support Services should see the LSS Application Process.

After submitting an Inquiry Form, you will receive an email with login instructions. Log in using the steps provided. NOTE: If you already have (or had) a student at Padua that utilizes MyPad, you will not receive a new username. You will log in as you would for the older student, and in the top left corner of the page you will be able to choose which student profile you are viewing.

We also highly recommend you consider the following opportunities:

Attend other events at Padua. All grade school students get in free to home sporting events.

8th graders applying for admissions to Padua need to take the High School Placement Test. You can register for the test in your Parent MyPad account.

Please note: There is the HSPT and the Pre-HSPT. The Pre-HSPT is slightly easier and is scored with 7th grade norms. The HSPT is only scored with 8th grade norms. Additionally, the HSPT is revised yearly, with a new test published annually. The Pre-HSPT was redone in 2020 and probably won't be redone for a few more years. To keep consistency and accuracy when it comes to the High School Placement Test in regards to admissions and course placement, Padua only accepts the 8th grade version of the HSPT.

To be considered for Admission to Padua, you must:

Send grade school records to Padua (report cards and records from 6th, 7th and 8th grade). If your student is coming from non-Catholic school, complete the Record Request Form and return it to your child’s school. They will send the records to Padua. If your 8th grader attends a Catholic school, the school will send us the transcripts in January through Digital Academy.

Complete the Application Form in MyPad (all students coming from both Catholic and non-Catholic schools must complete the Application Form in MyPad).

With your MyPad account, you can use any device to login. Questions about MyPad? See our FAQs!

Note: Beginning January 2025, Application forms will be available in Digital Academy to 8th grade students attending Catholic elementary schools.

Non-Catholic school students and Catholic school students should complete the Application Form in the MyPad admissions progress checklist.
