Padua Volleyball Wins Major National Tournament

Padua's Volleyball team won a major championship in Kentucky on Saturday, September 14, 2019. The Lady Bruins are LIVT champions, after beating the #1 and #4 team in the country, both in a single day.

Coach James BeHarry said, "When we saw the talent in the field, we hoped to
get the seed that we wanted for the tournament. 
When that happened, we knew that we had a chance to play Mater Dei or
Assumption, which would give us an indication of how we would fair with ranked
teams in the country.  We set two short
term goals.  First, we wanted to win the
net on Friday night.  Second, we wanted
to win our first match on Saturday.  Both
of those happened and it gave us the opportunity to shock the volleyball
nation."
