Summer Renovations Underway

Summer renovations are underway at Padua Franciscan High School. Crews are installing air-conditioning in both the gym and library. This game-changing project will truly transform the spaces. The funding was made possible by the extraordinary generosity of the Padua Class of 1973 and their 50th reunion gift to the school.

"It has been a joy to work with the 'Dynasty of 1973' and to partner together for such an important change for our school," said Padua's President Dave Stec '86. Their gift, along with the use of some federal EANS funds will enable the Padua community to use these spaces year-round.

As a member of the Class of '73, Pat Greco believes strongly in the project. "The project to air-condition these important spaces has provided a way for our class to unite, while embracing the future of Padua and helping to fulfill its mission," said Greco.

AVI Fresh is partnering with Padua to renovate the cafeteria and Brewin' Café. The transformation will include new some new furniture, fresh paint, updated lighting, new audio-visual equipment and new TVs.

Lastly, crews will also update the MyTrack® Business hub and classroom, thanks to a generous donor.

"As a school, we are committed to spending capital dollars, donor engagement and federal grant funds to transform Padua for the next generation," said Principal Bob DiRocco
