Class of 2024 Graduation

Padua Franciscan High School celebrated its Class of 2024 with a Commencement ceremony at St. Albert the Great Church on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Padua alumnus Robert Klonk ’76 gave the commencement address. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Unison Risk Advisors and Oswald Companies. Klonk encouraged the graduates that it's ok to not have it all figured out just yet. But, he continued, "Do not waste a day. Time is the one thing you cannot get back. Try to win every day...whatever that looks like for you." He reminded the Class of 2024 to work hard and persevere. That is the definition of success.

Valedictorian Cassidy Milner '24, who is heading to The Ohio State University to pursue a biochemistry degree, also addressed her classmates.

William Shakespeare said, “Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.” For the past four years, Padua has pushed us to be great. We have been shown the Franciscan faith and what being a part of a community means. This pushed us to be compassionate individuals. We have been held to high standards and encouraged to be our best academically. Over these four years we have all experienced classes, tests, and finals that  made us question what we signed up for. Overall, all of these Padua values have led to greatness being thrust on us. We rose to the challenge. We passed classes. We aced the tests. And we hopefully did well on our finals. Now looking to the future, it is time to achieve what was thrust upon us by Padua. Now is the time to go and achieve that greatness in our futures. — Cassidy Milner '24

Eight senior Baseball players were unable to attend Graduation, due to a Regional Semifinal game. They received their diplomas in a separate ceremony during Baccalaureate Mass. Click here to view photos.

Class of 2024, we hope you’re Happy, Healthy, Holy and Highly Prepared for your next chapter! And remember – you’re never alone, you’re always a Bruin!
