Padua Celebrates 2024 Fall Elementary Music Festival

Current and Future Bruins musicians showcased their talents at the Fall Instrumental Concert on Sunday, October 27th in Padua's Gym.

Padua's Symphonic Band, Orchestra and Jazz Band played alongside 6th-8th grade musicians from our Elementary Music Program. Junior-high school students represented St. Anthony of Padua, St. Charles, St. Columbkille, Incarnate Word Academy, St. Albert the Great, and St. Albert the Great at Assumption Academy.

The students performed under the guidance of Mr. Mark Wozniak '97 (Director of Instrumental Music), Ms. Jessica Jonczyk (Band Director) and Mrs. Carrie Woodie '94 (Orchestra Director).

The evening featured performances of "Danse" from African Suite, four movements of the Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Opus 46, The Magic of Harry Potter, Blue Train, Iron and Ice: A Viking Adventure and Shackelford Banks (Tale of Wild Mustangs), among several other numbers.
