Seven Padua Students Recognized by National Center for Women in Technology

The National Center for Women in Technology (NCWIT) recognized seven Padua students with Aspirations Awards.

Congratulations to the honorees, including:

  • Afia Ava ’26 (Ohio Award/National Honorable Mention)
  • Sophia Swartwood ’26 (Ohio Honorable Mention)
  • Victoria Gross ’25 (Ohio Rising Stars)
  • Alex Tehoke ’26 (Ohio Rising Stars)

The winners were announced on Monday, February 10, 2025.

The honors were given to 9th-12th grade students for their computing-related achievements and interests, and encourages them to pursue their passions. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, persistence, and future plans.
