The Padua Franciscan Performing Arts department presented The Wind in the Willows as its 2025 Spring Musical from April 10-13.

The Wind in the Willows is an adaptation of the classic children’s novel from Kenneth Grahame, a story that outlines the interactions of four animals Mole, Ratty, Badger and Mr. Toad.

Together, they travel through the English countryside with Mole adapting to a whole new world outside of his comfort zone, and Mr. Toad getting into a bit of trouble. Ultimately, the themes of friendship, loyalty and enjoying the simple things in life carry the story of the four friends.

During their shows, students performed in front of family and friends, local grade-schoolers and a very special guest in Pat Chapman, who is a patron of The Dazzle Awards at Playhouse Square!
