Alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends of Padua gathered for the 36th annual James W. Day Alumni Golf Classic on Friday, June 6, 2025, presented by Koler Financial Group, H&M Landscaping, and KHM Travel Group.
Coffee and donuts were served during registration before golfers took to the practice range. A boxed lunch and complimentary beverages awaited foursomes on the course. The 19th hole included heavy appetizers, an open bar, presentation of awards, and a message from President Dave Stec ’86.
Thirty-five foursomes competed in the scramble tournament at Shale Creek Golf Club. A total of ten groups composed of alumni from the same graduating class competed for the Alumni Cup. Representing the Class of 2003, Luke Kuchta, Alex Kocin, Kyle Rybak, and AJ Borisa came in 14 under, took home the Cup, and tied for the overall low score. Also, with a score of 14 under and tied for the overall championship were Andrew Santoli ’97, Dan Sabo, Dan Finlin, and Eric Lind along with Rodney Ott, Rick Majoras, Al Linder, and Joe Schaefer.
Save the date for the 37th annual Padua Alumni Golf Classic which will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Shale Creek Golf Club. Registration will open coinciding with the Masters Tournament on April 9, 2026.
