Eight students and three faculty members traveled to Tanzania on a Good Samaritan Mission Trip this summer.

Members of the team worked with young children in the Upendo Orphanage, as well as the Msamaria Home for Street Children. Students helped feed babies, play games, sing and dance to songs and provided companionship to the children.

Also, they were able to enjoy the beauty of Africa, experiencing a safari in the Tarangire National Park and the waterfalls of Marangu at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Finally, they were able to bring food and supplies to six homes of families in need. This mission was meant for our students to Serve, to Pray, to Care for God's Creation, and to be Peacemakers.
