Message from President Dave Stec '86

Padua Franciscan High School broke ground on a new Athletic Center in August 2025. Campaign leaders recently gathered for a blessing and groundbreaking ceremony. This is a significant milestone made possible by the incredible generosity of supporters through our Achieving Excellence capital campaign.

The campaign has raised $12.125 million thus far, bringing us closer to our campaign goal of $16 million.

"Our campaign plans represent the culmination of an extensive two-year planning process driven by our vision to provide Padua students with outstanding designated facilities needed to achieve their full potential," said President Dave Stec ’86.

"The construction of this 29,000-square-foot athletic center represents a major enhancement for all of our Bruins," said Vice President of Advancement Tony Shuman ’91. "We are incredibly grateful to those who have supported and believed in our shared vision. The collective efforts from our Padua family have made a real difference and with each new member generously stepping forward we move one step closer to successfully crossing the campaign finish line."

Upon completion of the Athletic Center, the second phase of construction will begin, which includes the current gymnasium being renovated into a Center for Performing Arts for both vocal and instrumental instruction, performances and theatrical productions.
