Padua Franciscan High School senior Kayla Brandon ’26 signed a Letter of Intent to continue her academic and soccer careers at Ohio Dominican University on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
The first Bruins athlete to sign a letter of intent this school year, Brandon celebrated the event in the Padua Gym with coaches, teachers, teammates, friends, and family.
“ODU gives me the opportunity to play college soccer and continue with a pre-medicine degree, plus the opportunity to be accepted into med school,” Brandon said of her choice.
Brandon will major in biology on a pre-med track at Ohio Dominican.
Recently, she concluded a highly decorated soccer career with the Bruins. Brandon earned All-District honors three times (First Team in 2025, Second Team in 2023 and Honorable Mention in 2022), and was a four-time All-Conference selection. Brandon earned First-Team All-Conference during her sophomore, junior and senior years and Second-Team status as a freshman.
Brandon was an Academic All-Ohio choice and team captain in 2025, and played an integral role in two 12-win seasons.
