Padua Announces 2026 Hall of Fame Inductees

The Padua Franciscan High School Hall of Fame was established to recognize those who have made outstanding contributions to the success of Padua in a significant way. The Hall of Fame recognizes nominees in the area of athletics, service, and volunteerism; success in their field of work; and community leadership.

Congratulations to the 2026 Hall of Fame inductees who will be honored at the Bruin Benefit on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Aladams

OUTSTANDING ALUMNUS AWARD

Awarded to a male alum who has made a major impact either in service to Padua, service to the community, or achievement in their chosen field of work.

Al Adams ’69

Al Adams was the Class of 1969 salutatorian, the vice president of the senior class, a member of the National Honor Society and a standout multi-sport athlete. His foundational preparation and outstanding performance during his Padua years propelled him to earning three degrees at Harvard University; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, an MBA, and a Law degree. After Harvard, Al returned to Cleveland to practice business law joining BakerHostetler, where he has spent his entire prestigious career. Over nearly five decades, Al has built an exceptional record as one of Cleveland’s leading business lawyers. His career achievements have earned him wide recognition: “Recommended in Real Estate” by “Legal 500 United States” and listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” for corporate law. He has served Padua as a board trustee, he is a Friar Club member, as well as a leadership donor for the Achieving Excellence capital campaign. Al’s commitment to people extends beyond his alma mater and profession as he supports numerous Northeast Ohio organizations.


Robertklonk

OUTSTANDING ALUMNUS AWARD

Awarded to a male alum who has made a major impact either in service to Padua, service to the community, or achievement in their chosen field of work.

Robert Klonk ’76

A graduate from the Class of 1976, Robert Klonk is the chairman and chief executive officer of the Oswald Companies and Unison Risk Advisors. He credits lessons learned at Padua including discipline, camaraderie and teamwork, with his impressive career successes. Named to the Business Hall of Fame and Crain’s Cleveland Business Power 150, Bob also received the 2022 Pogue Award from the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation for excellence in community leadership and engagement. He has served on the boards of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Greater Cleveland Partnership, and Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), where he earned his Honorary Doctorate. Just as he has supported the Northeast Ohio community, Bob has continued to invest in his alma mater over the years. He is a member of the Friar Club and a visionary donor for the Achieving Excellence capital campaign.

OUTSTANDING ALUMNA AWARD

Awarded to a female alum who has made a major impact either in service to Padua, service to the community, or achievement in their chosen field of work.

Ann Mack ’93

Ann Mack is a proud Bruin from the Class of 1993 who shined as a student, as a cheerleader, and as a performer in several theater productions. Ann earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The Ohio State University, where she currently serves as co-chair on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Arts and Sciences. After starting her career as a crime reporter at the Mansfield News Journal, she moved to New York City to join Adweek Magazine covering digital advertising. Transitioning to a corporate communications role, Ann spent nearly a decade at J. Walter Thompson, leading insights on cultural and consumer shifts that influenced global advertising strategies. In pursuit of innovation, she moved to San Francisco to help launch Facebook IQ, Meta's insights platform. Her career is marked with remarkable achievements in marketing and technology and today, as Director of Business Solutions Marketing at Meta, Ann and her team empower businesses worldwide to connect with customers and maintain relationships that help them grow.

Noramahoney

OUTSTANDING ALUMNA AWARD

Awarded to a female alum who has made a major impact either in service to Padua, service to the community, or achievement in their chosen field of work.

Nora Mahoney ’06

A 2006 graduate, Nora Mahoney excelled during her Padua years by balancing her strong academic career with leadership and involvement in several extracurricular clubs and activities. She went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from Baldwin Wallace University and later earned her Juris Doctor and Master’s degree at Vermont Law and Graduate School. Joining Carleton McKenna & Co. in 2014, Nora rose quickly through the ranks, becoming vice president by 2018, and later managing director, where she specializes in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raises. Her professional accolades include being named one of Cleveland Magazine's "Ones to Watch" in 2018 and inclusion in Crain's Cleveland Business 40 Under 40 list in 2023. Honed during her Padua years, Nora’s spirit of service continues today as she serves as a board member of First Federal of Lakewood, a trustee at Baldwin Wallace University, and as the president of the Union Club of Cleveland.

FRANCISCAN MEDAL AWARD

Awarded to the individual, couple, or company who has actively worked toward the advancement of education of young people at Padua or in the Parma area.

Chuck Bart

With a lifetime of incredible achievement as a successful businessman and co-founder of Component Repair Technologies, Chuck Bart remains humble and dedicated to embracing the blessing of his own life to lift up others. Father of Jeffrey ’92 and grandfather of Chase ’26, Chuck is a man of deep faith, passionate about Catholic education. His generosity and devotion to Padua has spanned four decades. He is a member of the Friar Club and he has served on the Board of Trustees and several committees. Chuck is the benefactor of the Bart Family Fund within the Padua Franciscan Endowment Trust and he is a visionary donor for the Achieving Excellence capital campaign. He continues to significantly impact our Padua community, making a difference for our students, and strengthening our Franciscan mission.

Margevicius

Awarded to the individual, couple, or company who has actively worked toward the advancement of education of young people at Padua or in the Parma area.

Michael ’82 and Lori Margevicius

Over the years, Mike ’82 and Lori Margevicius have partnered with the Padua community in various ways consistently giving of their time, talent, and treasure. Mike, a proud 1982 alumnus, has built a successful career in pharmacy and healthcare administration. A devoted husband and father, Mike's leadership exemplifies the Franciscan spirit of humility and stewardship. Lori, a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Certified Nurse Practitioner, founded and has coached the varsity figure skating team for over two decades. Under her guidance, the team has secured multiple Ohio state championships, fostering discipline, teamwork, and joy among student-athletes. As Friar Club members, Mike and Lori have generously supported Padua's growth, including the Achieving Excellence capital campaign and an inspiring donation for the new school sign as part of the Welcome Home Project. They are the proud parents of Padua graduates Steven ’07, Allison ’10, son-in-law Jose Vega ’10, and Thomas ’18.
