Inaugural MedTrack® Conference

The inaugural MedTrack® Conference took place on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Padua. It was a day of academic rigor and inspiration.

The event kicked off with a keynote address from alumnus Benjamin Frostino ’22, who currently attends the University of Notre Dame. He presented research on multiple sclerosis that he conducted at the Cleveland Clinic. Additionally, alumni Leah Danish ’21 and Anna Lindenmuth ’22 returned to present the research they have been assisting with in college.

MedTrack seniors presented high-level peer reviewed scientific research articles in various breakout sessions throughout the day. MedTrack juniors presented posters from their summer Externship experiences. Awards were also presented to several students, including the following:

• Best Senior Research Presentation: Sophia Zhuchyk ’26
• Best Externship Speech: Gretchen Jordan ’27
• Best Externship Research Paper: Kaylee Egnaczyk ’27
• Best Externship Reflection Paper: Liam Ray ’27
• Best Externship Poster: Akshay Kondapuram ’27
• Best Franciscan Connection: Emma Becerra ’27
