The Padua Franciscan Performing Arts department presented ALL SHOOK UP as its 2026 Spring Musical from April 16-19.
Loosely based on Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT, it’s 1955, and into a square little town rides a guitar-playing young man, Chad, who changes everything and everyone he meets. Featuring mega hits from the beloved Elvis Presley® catalogue, this musical fantasy kept the audience entertained and engaged with songs like “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”
Bringing ALL SHOOK UP to the stage celebrated the enduring legacy of Elvis®. ALL SHOOK UP was a vibrant, joyous celebration of the power of love, the power of music, and the power of community.
During their shows, students performed in front of family and friends, local grade-schoolers and special guests from Playhouse Square!
ALL SHOOK UP was the last spring musical in the current Padua gymnasium before summer renovations turn the location into a dedicated space for the arts, featuring a 293-seat theatre, band and choir rooms, and individual practice areas.
