Six Padua Athletes Sign to Play College Sports

Congratulations to six members of Padua Franciscan High School’s Class of 2026 who have announced their intentions to play sports at the collegiate level.

The six athletes put pen to paper and signed letters of intent in front of family, friends, classmates and teachers in the Padua Gymnasium on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

Congratulations to the following athletes on making their college choices:

• Davey Bania - Wrestling - Wittenberg University
• Chase Bart - Baseball - University of Mount Union
• Jack DeGeeter - Baseball - Otterbein University
• Alivia Jones - Cheerleading & STUNT - Baldwin Wallace University
• Bella Marcellino - Cheerleading - The Ohio State University
• Kevin Ontaneda - Soccer - Hiram College

The six who signed Wednesday joined several of their classmates who previously signed with colleges.

Kayla Brandon (Soccer - Ohio Dominican), Bo Barney (Football - Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois) and Caleb Zolkowski (Football - Clarion University in Pennsylvania) signed letters of intent in November and February, respectively.
